How You Can Contribute
Chief Appraiser exists because appraisal guidance shouldn't be scattered across a dozen sources. If you have a document that belongs in this library — or you've noticed one of ours is out of date — here's how to help.
What We're Looking For
- Guideline documents you have the rights to share — agency bulletins, state board publications, training materials you authored
- Academic papers and research relevant to residential appraisal
- Corrections — if you spot a document in the library that's outdated or superseded, tell us
Accepted Formats
PDF or Word (.docx). If it's a webpage, send the link and we'll review it.
Before You Submit
Every submission is reviewed for:
- Copyright — you must own it, have the right to share it, or it must be public domain
- Relevance — must relate to residential appraisal, valuation, or the guidelines that govern it
- Accuracy — current and consistent with the sources already in the library

Email your document (or a link to it) along with a short note about what it is and why it belongs here. We'll review it and follow up.
